Earlier this week, I took significant umbrage to Kevin Drum's "review" of Fahrenheit 9/11. Today, there's a posting by Kevin on Washington Monthly in which he redeems himself. Seems that an eminently reasonable FOIA request was made of J-ASS (John Ashcroft's Secret Society, aka DOJ), and...
"Implementing such a request risks a [database] crash that cannot be fixed and could result in a major loss of data, which would be devastating..."Much discussion on the ludicrosity of this FOIA rejection here.
