Not a Mutt

In my previous post, I whined on about the media (read it, then check the comments). This morning, Atrios made a posting that's pretty darn subtle - just a link, no commentary - but that's what Atrios does best. He lets the link speak for itself.

The link to Outfoxed doesn't just speak for itself. It screams for itself. Go. Read. Listen. View. Spend $9.99.

And like all great things in the blogosphere, one link leads to another. The News Hounds blog is linked up from from the Outfoxed website. What is News Hounds? Their motto speaks for itself: We watch Fox so you don't have to. Here's a clip from the News Hounds Manifesto:

Rather than serve as the public’s eyes and ears, Fox and other media conglomerates have become echo chambers for the rich and powerful with whom they have become all too cozy. This blog is an attempt to counter that alarming condition. We believe that a viable democracy depends upon viable media. We invite you to join us in our efforts here and elsewhere to make a difference in the future of our country.
Y'all should know by now that I'm not easily impressed, and that I only grudgingly add to the blogroll over on the left menu. Two minutes after I stumbled onto News Hounds, they were blogrolled.

Grrrrrrrr BARK BARK BARK. Keep up the good work, guys!
