I believe in Youth and Optimism

This somewhat goes along with Richard's point that Edwards polls far higher in optimism than Cheney. I want that to rub off on Mr. Kerry as well. And if it does, I think we've got an election won.

So who's the secret weapon? Not a John Edwards, but a Jack. . .

How can one NOT look young and optimistic with that boy in one's arms. He and his sister are the key here, as well as that herd of photogenic young Kerrys and Heinzes. Mr. Kerry should be seen in company with that kid, his sister, and also his own brood, as often as possible.

Yeah, I'm not kidding. Jack Edwards may put Kerry/Edwards over the top. He's a handful, and just to the right or left of the camera he's always catching the eye of the audience. I loved it particularly yesterday when one of the HEinz boys was holding the boy and Jack then wanted down and then insisted on being bounced around. The camera, clearly tasked with following Kerry's words, backed off so we could all see Jack Edwards as well.

He's a keeper.
