"Outfoxed" - See it for Free!

Hey, it sounds like a pretty good idea to me. House parties are being hosted all over the country this coming Sunday evening for a screening of "Outfoxed". You'll get to see the movie, and maybe more importantly, hook up and chat with a group of like-minded people in your area.

I've said before that working the web is important, but each of us also needs to get away from in front of the monitor and do some real world work aimed at running the squatters out of the White House in November.

Here's your chance - from moveon.org:

This Sunday evening, July 18th, you're invited to be among the first to see Outfoxed at one of over 2,500 house parties across the nation, hosted by MoveOn and Common Cause members. Then join together in a coast-to-coast conference call with comedian and radio host Al Franken and the movie's director, Robert Greenwald. We'll kick off an exciting campaign to take on Fox for its partisan reporting and deceptive slogan "Fair and Balanced."

Check out the trailer for Outfoxed at the movie website here.
I registered for one of the parties being hosted less than 10 minutes from my house. Most of the activist work I've done so far has been an hour away in the "big city" - and it will be nice to hook up with some locals. Why not follow the link above and see if there's a screening near you? A free movie, a chat with Franken, and new (maybe old) friends - what better could you do on Sunday evening?
