My Day Off

It began early, with sleepy-eyed on-line reading at 5 AM ... and then coffee, waking my husband. Then a load of laundry, skimming the backyard pond, washing yesterday's dishes, watering the lawn, cleaning the bathroom, shopping for incidental grocery stuff. Since then, about 1:30 PM I've been playing my favorite games on-line:

And Rocket Mania, the fireworks game.

As soon as my husband gets home from making guitars we'll grill some sausage, corn on the cob, summer squash, and decide if we want to climb on the roof to see fireworks, drive up the hill, or watch the nightly news for fireworks around the nation.
