Memos from the Political Graveyard

That would be Orange County, California. I was in my car in the parking lot at work listening to "Democracy Now" on KPFK radio just a few minutes ago before coming in to put my nose to the grindstone, and I watched as a couple of OC democrat women pulled up to off-load their gear. They've leased the building next door to me from my employers until after November 2nd. It should be interesting. I plan to visit there on my lunch "hour" after they open in earnest, and rap with them a bit.

If you are not familiar with the lay of the land here on the Left Coast, Orange County has been almost the only republican, conservative bastion in California. Home of the Nixon Shrine in Yorba Linda.
