Labor Day Bush

This guy's got balls just being out on Labor Day weekend. His administration has sheparded the loss of over 1/2 million manufacturing jobs. George Bush is the most anti-union ex-CEO ever to occupy a position of political power.

What really chaps my ass is that West Virginia is owned by Big Coal. The mine worker's union is big time anti-Bush. Yet we don't hear this. But you also inherently know that a big chunk of the people at this rally were probably mine workers, or connected (familially or otherwise) to a mine worker. Yet they continue to support this Ivy League, red neck-wannabe who wants to turn this country into a theological shitkicker theme park.

I just don't get it.

Bush Challenges Kerry on Jobs, Economy:

...Bush contrasted Kerry's approach with his record. He cited new employment figures showing that 1.7 million jobs overall were added to the economy since last August.

'Our economic plan is working,' the president said.

He did not mention that there are 900,000 fewer jobs than when he took office in January 2001, despite promises of millions being created with his tax cuts. West Virginia has shed 11,000 manufacturing jobs on Bush's watch.
What.in.the.fuck. is it going to take for America to wake up?? This guy has presided over the worst economy since the great depression. I went on the other day about my family's loss of disposable income over the last four years - and I know I'm not alone in this regard.

Pose one question to your family, friends, and neighbors:

"Are your future prospects better or worse than they were four years ago?"

Even if they answer in the affirmative, the question should start them thinking. Giant oaks start from an acorn.
