Worth a Click and 40 Minutes

Donna Brazile is a treasure. Always has been, always will be. She was the manager of President Gore's 2000 campaign, and has recently published the next book I plan to buy, "Cooking With Grease: Stirring the Pots in American Politics". This past Wednesday, she was interviewed by Terry Gross on NPR's "Fresh Air". I really, really recommend listening to this 40 minute interview. She revisits the 2000 election, what happened on election day, and the aftermath. There's also a great riff or two on the current fervor in the Catholic church.

As progressives, we can.not.allow.2000 to happen again.

Get involved. Don't wait for the person next to you to make the first move -- be that person.
