So, the big story today is that Alberto "Abu Ghraib" Gonzales received the seal of approval from BushCo today. He'd be a nice followup to Ashcroft, since Gonzales has been a one man wrecking crew on the Bill of Rights and the Geneva Convention. In fact, even the SCOTUS appears to be having a bit of a problem with Gonzales' interpretation of the terms "enemy combatant" and "indefinite detainment without counsel".
So, you expected Judge Roy Moore or something? Naw. Judge Moore wears his religion on his sleeve. He's predictable. Gonzales is a snake who does his best Reichstag-related work in the shadows. At least Ashcroft shed his skin in public.

I think I've found the first topic to discuss with my congressman and senators.
