Saying falsely that he was needed in Washington this week for Senate votes, Bunning tore up his own carefully crafted debate agreement and refused to return to Kentucky on Monday for his one scheduled debate with Mongiardo. It was to have taken place at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Lexington, Ky., studio of WKYT-TV. Jim Bunning's Seat Up for Grabs?
Probably not, but his lead is down from 24 to 11 points against an unknown guy with no budget. Why? He's showing signs that he's got some sort of demetia. Yes, the Republicans are running a man who is showing signs that he will be incapable of serving out his term. And the Democrat in the race has got him on the run. They know it, and their protecting him and keeping him in a cocoon is what is harming his campaign:
