Journalist finds himself on other side of the news
Jon Leiberman's world turned upside down yesterday. A man used to asking tough questions found himself answering them. A man used to covering the news found himself making the news.Jon has an on air non-compete, which in the broadcasting world is a long term sentence to indentured servitude. Hopefully, SBG will drop this clause in his contract. Somebody needs to give this obviously ethical guy a job.
On Monday, Leiberman was fired from his post as Sinclair Broadcast Group's Washington bureau chief for criticizing as biased his company's decision to air a controversial news program based on allegations against Sen. John Kerry, the Democratic presidential nominee.
It's really instructive to read the entire linked article, just so you know the lengths to which the wingnuts are willing to go for their bitch, George Bush.
I just don't get it. What's the attraction?
